From scattered links to one shared itinerary

JourneyBook needed to replace a spreadsheet and group chat planning process with a single collaborative product, without alienating the non technical friends and family who make up most group trips. We built a Next.js and Node.js web app with collaborative itineraries that update live, booking import from email confirmations, and a mobile friendly day by day view that works even on a patchy connection at the airport. Nine months after launch, JourneyBook is used for trip planning across three continents, with most groups completing their itinerary entirely inside the app instead of falling back to a spreadsheet.
